dc.description.abstract This study aimed at investigating the school principals and headmastres estimation of the degree of availability of principles of effective training in the program development of school administration in Jordan. The study also, aimed at revealing the effect of gender, experience, qualification, and the interaction among these variables on their evaluation of the programs. The importance of the study came from the idea that the school is the corner stone for implementing the objectives and the educational policies, and the headmaster’s role as a liaison between the school administration and the educational field. The population of the study consisted of (380) headmasters participating in the program. A sample of (122) headmasters through the random satrified way was chosen. Means and ANOVA have been used. To estimate the reliability, a test retest has been used. The study showed that the objectives domain scored the highest; whereas, the planning domain scored the lowest. The study also showed that there is non-statistically significant difference due to experience, gender, qualification and the interaction in principals’ evaluation of all aspects of the programs, except for the objective domain in which the interaction between the experience and gender was statistically significant. In the light of the results of the study, the researder emphasized on the necessity of involving the participants in identifying the training needs and the planning of the program. en_US
