Teaching Competencies of Physical Education Teachers in the Primary Basic Stage in Nablus Directorate

dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate teaching competencies of physical education teacher in the primary basic stage in Nablus Directorate according to the opinion of principals and physical education teachers. The sample of the study consisted of (60) teachers and (60) principals. The results revealed a high degree of teaching competencies for planning domain, and moderate degree for both applied and evaluation domains. In addition, the results indicated a significant differences at (α = 0.05) in teaching competencies between teachers and principals, in favor of teachers. Based on the study finding the researcher recommended to increase attention in evaluating physical education teacher with respect of these competencies. en_US
