The Extent of the Schools’ Managers in Helping Teachers Professionally According to the Teachers’ Point of View “Field Study in Al-Karak Province”

dc.description.abstract This study aimed at identifying the extent of the schools’ managers in Al-karak province in helping teachers professionally according to the teachers’ point of view. To achieve this study’s goal the researchers developed a questionnaire covering (49) area divided to five fields: planning for studying, develop the teachers’ professionally, managing the class and observing system, applying curriculum, and methods, ways and activities. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by arbitrators and specialties from teaching members in the educational faculties in the Jordanian universities and some experts in the ministry of education and the reliability was verified and its coefficient was (0.90). Means, standard deviations and analysis of variance were used to treat the study data. The study sample consisted of (249) teachers males and females. The sample was selected randomly by (5%) from the total population. The total population of teachers was (4986). The results showed the following: - The extent of the schools’ managers in Al-karak province in helping teachers professionally according to the teachers’ point of view was at medium level. - There were significant differences at (α≤0.05) according to gender variable in favor of females. - There were significant differences at (α≤0.05) according to academic qualifications, variable in favor of master degree holders. - There were significant differences at (α≤0.05) according to the educational experience variable, in favor of (10) years of experience and more. *In the light of the study findings, the researcher recommended the following: - Conducting specialized training courses for school headmasters on concepts and practices active role helping in the classroom management for teachers and how to deal with it in a practical way. en_US
