The Efficacy of a Vocational Guidance Program in Improving the Vocational Maturity and Adjustment of the Sultan Qaboos University Students

dc.description.abstract This study aimed at developing a vocational guidance program in improving the vocational maturity and adjustment of the sultan qaboos university students. The sample of the study consisted of (44) male Students from the sultan qaboos university. The sample of the study was randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group, which consisted of (22) students and a control group, which consisted of (22) students. The vocational guidance program was applied on the experimental group only, whereas the control group did not receive any treatment. The results of (ANCOVA) showed significant differences in improving vocational maturity among experimental group students compared to the control group these differences were in favor o the experimental group. The results also showed that significant differences in improving the adjustment level of the of the experimental group student compared to the control group students these differences were in favor of the experimental group. There were some recommendations according to the study results which may develop vocational maturity and the adjustment level of the university students. en_US
