dc.description.abstract The study sought to identify vocational secondary education teachers’ computer literacy levels, their attitudes towards using computers in their teaching, and the relationship of these with the teachers’ experience and Location factors. To accomplish the objectives of the study, a test for measuring the teachers’ computer literacy levels, and attitude Scale for measuring teachers’ attitudes towards using computers in teaching were prepared. Both tools were administered to a group of vocational secondary education teachers (n=290) in some schools that belonged to both Assiut and Quena governorates. Findings revealed low computer literacy levels for the research participants in general. Also, differences in favour of the more novice teachers were identified within the teachers’ levels of computer literacy as a result of the experience factor. The teachers’ attitudes towards using computers in teaching were positive. Further, differences in these attitudes as a result of the experience factor in favour of the more novice teachers were identified. The study revealed a positive correlation between computer literacy for the research participants and their attitudes towards using computers in teaching. en_US
