Abstract:
This study aims at investigating the foreign student’s motivations enrolling in the postgraduate programs at Mutah University in Jordan, It also explores the effect of variables, sex, age, program level, merits status and the employee situation on their classification of these motivations. A sample of (211) students were randomly selected. A questionnaire consists of (29) items was designed and classified into four domains. The results showed that the enrolled students of higher graduated programs classified the motivations of enrollment according to its importance: scientific motivation, career’s motivation, psychometric motivation and social motivation. Furthermore, the results showed that there were no significant effects attributed to variables of: sex, age, program level, merits status and employee status affecting student’s classification of their motivations.
