dc.description.abstract This study aimed to investigate the effect of the use of electronic board on the achievement of the primary fifth grade students in science and their attitudes towards it in the governorate of Irbid in Jordan. The study population consisted of students from the primary fifth grade students in the public schools of the Directorate of Education in Irbid’s first district for the academic year 2012/2013. The study population belonged to two sections. Both sections had 62 students. The experimental group had 35 students and the control group 27 students. The study population was taken from Al- Tatweer Al-Hadari and Othman Ibn Affan schools in Irbid. The experimental group was taught by using the electronic board, while the control group was taught in the conventional way. Data were collected by using an achievement test and a questionnaire to determine attitudes of students. Validity, and persistence have been verified. Reliability coefficient was found when applied to a pilot study. The results showed the presence of statistically significant differences in the students’ achievement in science for the teaching methods and attitudes. The excellence was for the students who learned science by using the electroni board. The study proposed a number of recommendations in the light of the results. en_US
