dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate internet use in activities by teachers and students in secondary schools. The sample consisted of (117) teachers in the area of Islamic education and Arabic language teachers and (519) first grade secondary students. The researcher collected data using two questionnaires, one for teachers and the other for students. The results indicated that: Teachers using internet in school activities for getting information about various cultural topics, and to advice students in regard of some useful electronic sites that dealing with their school activities. Students’ use of the internet focused on getting information about some web sites given by their teachers. The slowness of the internet and its great cost outside the school were the most important obstacles that students and teachers face in using the internet in schools activities. The researchers recommended to provide the internet services for both teachers and students in all secondary schools. Periodical maintenance for the internet and computers must done, in order to have a good quality of the services provided. en_US
