Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to explore the differences in faculties usage of computer at the University of Bahrain according to the area of teaching, sex, and qualification. A questionnaire was designed for data collection. A sample consisting of 89 faculty members responded. The results revealed that faculty used computer mainly for the followings tasks: typing reports, students evaluation, internet, word processing, and electronic table (Excel). The results also revealed that there were statistical significant differences in the usage of computer by faculty members that could be attributed to qualification, and college type.
