Job Satisfaction Among Special Educational Teachers and the Factors Affecting their Job Satisfaction in both Public and Private Sectors in Jordan

dc.description.abstract This study aimed at determining the degree of job satisfaction among special educational teachers, and whether this degree would be varied due to sector, gender, qualification, and the interaction between these variables. The sample of this study consisted of (167) teachers (71 males and 96 females) chosen from both sectors. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers developed an instrument of five subscales to measure the degree of job satisfaction. Where its psychometric characteristics were ensured. The results showed that the degree of job satisfaction was moderate, and it found to be varied due to sector in favor of private sector, as well as due to gender in favor of female, and due to qualification in favor of M.A degree, meanwhile no significant differences were found in the degree of job satisfaction due to the interaction between these variables. The results were discussed and recommendations were addressed accordingly. en_US
