dc.description.abstract The present study aimed to identify the success indicators of the educational counselor as perceived by the counselors. )71( Male and female counselors were selected; they had been chosen from the governmental schools in Ajloun Governorate in the north of Jordan in the academic year 2015/2016 .The researcher developed an “indicator Scale of the Educational Counselor Work Success”. The study results revealed that the success indicators of the work of the educational counselor were of an average degree. There were statistically significant differences in the success of the work of the educational counselor as perceived by the counselors themselves due to counselors’ gender in favor of the female counselors. There were also statistically significant differences in terms of the school variable in favor of secondary schools. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of success of the work of the educational Counselor as seen by the Counselors themselves in terms of the following variable: qualification and years of experience. en_US
