dc.description.abstract This study aims to explore the reality of the provided skills by accounting programs in both public and private universities in Jordan based on the content of the Skills, International Accounting Education Standard (3). A questioner was designed and distributed to all faculty members at the accounting departments in the Jordanian universities, where 74 questioners were received and analyzed. The results indicates that accounting programs in the Jordanian universities are providing intellectual, technical, and functional skills, while it don’t provide personal, interpersonal, communication, and organizational and business management skills. Also, the results revealed that no differences between public and private universities regarding intellectual, interpersonal, and communication skills, while differences are notable between universities regarding technical, functional, and organizational and business management skills. en_US
