dc.description.abstract There are many interesting and disturbing facts about wars and one of the most important fact is that children constitues the majority of the soldiers. There are an estimated three hundred thousand child soldiers around the world and every year the number grows as more children are recruited for use in active combat. Children are used as combatants, messengers, porters and cooks and for forced sexual services. Some are abducted or forcibly recruited, others are driven to join by poverty, abuse and discrimination, or to seek revenge for violence enacted against them or their families. Child Soldiers have been devastated by the culture of crime and violence.This study examines the statute of child soldiers in public international law taken into account the position of international humanitarian law and international human rights law and International criminal law en_US
