dc.description.abstract	The gap between theory and practice in social work is an important and complex issue. The subject is linked to various aspects such as the curriculum and professional practice in social work. In addition to that, the topic is related to the culture and the values within society, which change among generations. The social problems and their impacts may also differ with the passage of time. All these seem a pressing need to continuously discuss the gap between theory and practice in social work and observe the issue from a different perspective. The current study negotiates the issue in terms of the views of social work professionals (academics and practitioners) in Saudi society. The study is also trying to support those views by taking the visuals of some university students who specialized in social work.	en_US
